As the festive air of Christmas surrounds us, the lights, gifts, and carols bring warmth to our hearts. But in the midst of the celebration, let’s take a moment to reflect on the true reason for the season—Jesus Christ.

Over 2,000 years ago, the greatest gift ever given arrived in a humble manger. Jesus, the Savior of the world, stepped into our story to bring hope, peace, and salvation. His birth wasn’t about lavish festivities but about love—God’s unconditional love for humanity.

This Christmas, as we exchange gifts and gather with loved ones, let’s remember the ultimate gift that surpasses all others: the gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ. The joy we celebrate isn’t found in material things but in the good news that Christ brought into the world.

So, sing with gladness, “Hark! The herald angels sing,” for Emmanuel—God with us—has come! In this season of giving, let’s also give back, showing the love of Christ to those around us.
